Beachwood Neighborhood meeting is tonight (Tues, April 21), at 7 pm. All are welcome. Please try to come. Marina Dr, across the street from the basketball courts. Meeting doesn't go more than an hour.

Sandalwood High School Band has been invited to Washington DC to March in the Memorial Day Parade. What a great honor. If you can donate anything to help get them there , I'm sure they would be grateful.

Is your garage cluttered with old paint cans and printers that don't work? If you want to get rid of them, we have some good news for you. Our Mobile Household Hazardous/E-Waste Collection Events return for 2026 starting on Saturday, January 24th at Normandy Park (1728 Lindsey Rd).

I wish I had remembered to post that garbage pickup was regular schedule. Trash was picked up this morning and won't be picked up again until next Thursday, Jan 8. Bulk trash and recycling will be next Friday (Jan 9). Please don't put bulk out until the night before (Jan 8).

LOST BLACK CAT....Lost last night, about 3 yrs old, all black and ear tipped. Has black and silver collar on. Jumped off of van (no one knew he was on roof of van). Corner of Surfwood Ave and Beachwood Blvd. Grandkids kitty. 904-333-4484. We live in back of neighborhood so he's far from home

Only 5 homes out of 328 did a yard sale yesterday Saturday 9/27/2025. Only a small amount of rain. Most of the day was clear.

I do not think the neighborhood association will sponsor another one on 10/03/2025 if ever again.

I do wish to thank the officers of our volunteer association for putting the signs out. Well marked on Beach Blvd. 4 signs on the east and 4 signs on the west side pointing to our neighborhood.

Also the weather is also questionable for 10/3. This is Florida. It can rain on one side of the street and not the other.

Volunteers are needed to pass out the news letters.

If we have more residents of the neighborhood pay the small yearly dues maybe more could be done. Remember the officers of our association are volunteers.

Just drove thru the neighborhood. There is garage sale on Starfish Ave, Keel Dr, Sands Ave, corner of Bayou and San Salvadore and one on Beachwood Blvd. 5 houses. Not many but ones that are doing it, they have great items! Please check them out.
