We may be looking to fall events as Augustwinds to a close, but we've got another Convention series update this week too!

At the end of June, Tri Delta's Convention was in Denver. JAPA member Audrey Van Etten was in attendance & here's what she had to say about the experience:

What an unforgettable weekend “Beneath the Pines” at Tri Delta’s 62nd Biennial Convention in Denver the last weekend of June at the fabulous Ga***rd Rockies Resort! From inspiring keynotes to milestone celebrations, Convention reminded us of the incredible strength of our sisterhood across geography and generations.
Nearly 700 Tri Deltas came together to connect, celebrate our history, & to help shape our future. We left the mile high city with full hearts, precious memories, renewed purpose & an even deeper appreciation for the women who make Tri Delta so extraordinary. Shout out to the well-represented Florida delegation. Also, that elevation is no joke ;)

Happy First Week of Classes to two of our local campuses!

Both Jacksonville University & University of North Florida started classes this week while Flagler College begins their Fall semester next week!

Keep an eye out for Recruitment dates and ways to support Primary Recruitment for all 3 campuses!

We're excited to be "Honoring our past, Celebrating our future" at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church during Fall Party & all year long!

Our Fall Party and all General Meetings from October to May will be at Hendricks this year. Bring a friend and mingle with sisters after our summer adventures!

We want to know about all the good you have been doing throughout the community, looking back to May 1st 2026!

PTA meetings? TLS adoption events? Church groups? Sorority philanthropy days? Other nonprofits or community events? Any and all of it counts and helps us reach our service hour goal!

"Sea" you at Dinner Group this month!

Come join us at a hidden gem- The Buoy!

Its a new restaurant in town serving up delicious local seafood and we can't wait to get together and enjoy a meal with our JAPA friends!

We're winding down on our Convention series, but we've still got plenty to celebrate! Last weekend Zeta Tau Alpha took over Palm Desert for their Convention!

Several JAPA members attended and here's what they had to say about the experience:

The Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter returned home with countless reasons to celebrate, including two of the Fraternity's highest chapter honors: the Betty McGehee Schuessler Award, Zeta Tau Alpha's highest recognition for an alumnae chapter, and Crown Chapter. Convention also brought multiple individual national recognitions, leadership appointments, scholarship celebrations, and the joy of seeing the Theta Iota Chapter at the University of North Florida earn Crown Chapter honors. We're back with another Convention series update!

Today we're celebrating with Alpha Chi Omega! Their Convention was in Dallas last weekend and had 12 local Jacksonville members in attendance

Here's what they had to say about the experience:

💛🎉 Jacksonville Alpha Chi Omega is celebrating in Dallas! 🎉💛

What an incredible week at Alpha Chi Omega's 63rd National Convention.

Our Jacksonville alumnae chapter was honored with a Seeking the Heights Membership award for continued growth and engagement, but the highlight of the convention was seeing our very own Barbara Eaton named Alpha Chi Omega Alumna Appreciation Award of the Year.

Barbara's service to Alpha Chi Omega has spanned decades. From her time as a Collegiate Field Advisor traveling the country to support collegiate chapters, to serving as a Province Alumnae Chair, to leading the revival and growth of our Jacksonville alumnae chapter, she has devoted countless hours to strengthening our sisterhood.

Her acceptance speech was inspiring, heartfelt, and a reminder of what lifelong membership in Alpha Chi Omega truly means.

Congratulations, Barbara! Jacksonville could not be prouder. 💛🦋

Our Convention series is celebrating with Kappa Alpha Theta today!

They were in Vegas for "Viva Theta" Grand Convention with JAPA members and Jacksonville Alumnae President Bradley Tune 🎰

here's her thoughts on the weekend:

President Bradley Tune represented our chapter as a delegate at Kappa Alpha Theta’s Grand Convention in Las Vegas. We voted on legislation, elected new grand council members, attended workshops, and heard from a variety of speakers. It was so cool to get to meet delegates from all over, as well as collegiates. Mary Jane Beach from our chapter also attended and ee were excited to hear the announcement that our next convention will be here in Florida. We were also excited to be awarded the Golden Kite award for our chapter’s achievements.

💛 Congratulations to Jacksonville Theta on receiving the Golden Kite award! JAPA is proud of your members and we look forward to celebrating with you all in person soon!
