Squash Borers can devastate a garden. Thankfully, we haven't lost any plants to them yet, but it's only a matter of time. The eggs are laid on the backs of the leaves of squash, zucchini, and pumpkin plants. The larvae are what destroy the plant. They can eat their way through a squash vine like the Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar. *The damaged plant below is not from our garden, however we do have some plants that look similar.
