The first cohort of the Young Professionals Leadership Jacksonville program has officially graduated!

This program was built on the foundation of NextGen and reimagined to create deeper connections, meaningful leadership experiences, and lasting impact for emerging leaders in our community. Over the past several months, this incredible group has explored the issues, opportunities, and organizations shaping Northeast Florida while building relationships that will last well beyond the program.

One of the highlights of this inaugural cohort was the addition of the mentorship experience. Leadership Jacksonville alumni invested their time, wisdom, and encouragement into these young professionals, creating connections that proved invaluable throughout the journey.

We celebrated this milestone aboard the St. Johns River Taxi alongside our mentors, reflecting on the experiences, lessons, and friendships formed along the way.

Congratulations to our graduates, and thank you to the mentors, volunteers, alumni, and supporters who helped bring this reimagined program to life. The future of leadership in our region is bright.

What an incredible evening at Celebration 2026!

Thank you to every attendee, supporter, board member, volunteer, sponsor, and Leadership Jacksonville alumnus who helped make this event such a tremendous success. Your collective support not only created a memorable evening but also helped us surpass our fundraising goals to ensure Youth Leadership Jacksonville remains free and accessible for students across our community.

A special shout-out to our outstanding Youth Leadership Jacksonville students, who hosted the evening with professionalism, heart, and excellence. You represented the future of leadership in Northeast Florida so well.

We were deeply moved by Brian Wolfburg's inspiring words, energized to continue creating change by Lisa Rinaman's message, and motivated to keep pushing forward by Marsha Oliver's wisdom and encouragement.
