🍇 pickin! kids loved being able to reach and pick themselves! we went right at 10am and weather was 👌🏻...and didn’t even need bug spray! wear shoes that you are cool getting a little muddy! check out the “you pick” tab on their site for full pickin times and deets (wed - sun 10am - 8:30pm)! would have loved to have gone in the evening too for sippin, pickin and eatin some hotdogs (vegan options too) !

We got to ROAM Matanzas Inlet yesterday on our Adventure Mom/Kids Community Day! Tide and Weather was 👌🏻🙌🏻!! This is our favorite spot to go in the summer! It’s a dream for little ones and easier to keep track of the wild ones! Thanks for joining us and making it such a a fun day!! To see future event deets for this group follow/like RoamJax on Facebook and request to be added to our closed group “RoamJax Adventure Mom/Kids Group”. Type that name into your Facebook search tool and it should pull up.

We would suggest making it a two stop trip if you want to make the most out of your mini road trip! If you have littles: I would hit first and then cool off at the inlet!! And if you have bigger kids: I would go to Fort Matanzas first and then come to the inlet! The first ferry over to the fort is at 9:30am and the ferry is free! @ Matanzas Inlet

Yesterday was a GOOD GOOD DAY 👊🏼! We loved getting to Roam Big Talbot Together on our Community Adventure Moms/Kids Day! Thanks for roaming with us and making it such a fun day! Special thanks to for keeping us hydrated with 💦 !! And we couldn’t have described yesterday better than Diana below!

Yesterday we joined for the largest adventure play date ever. It was an epic sight to see so many kids enjoying the element of freedom. We explored our most magical, local state park. These kids were tree climbing, catching crabs, building forts, swinging from hammocks, non-stop swimming, and taking turns being captain of the SUP. It was most certainly a day to remember. Thanks for putting it all together! .
I've never seen so many in one place! .

This is part of the heart/crew behind ! Hi 👋🏼, I’m Erin over ! This photo is after a Sunday Funday at Big Talbot and taking the Ferry ⛴ back home! We are Jax natives that left Jax for 8 years and just came back 3 years ago. We love getting outside and taking mini road trips! I was lucky to connect with other moms/littles when I moved back that loved to get out and explore Jax too! We have been going on adventure days now for three years together! Has been fun to see so many other Jax locals have their own explorer groups too! We hope to inspire others to get outside around Jax no matter how small or big an outing is! We hope to be a resource of all the cool places to Roam around Jax/day trips from Jax/weekend trips from Jax! And we hope to provide community for those that want to ROAM TOGETHER with us on our Jax Community Adventure Days! Excited to share more of our story/adventures with you! But more STOKED to share YOUR adventures/story! We are passionate about the tangible benefits of getting outside and having community 👊🏼!
