Ms. Mary’s needs were pretty simple. Like so many other seniors in our community, she could no longer drive but needed to get to doctors’ appointments. She tried other ride options but they did not meet her needs. She enrolled in Hart Felt’s Transportation Program in July of 2025 and has since received 14 rides to appointments.

Whereas she previously felt anxious when she had an appointment due to transportation challenges, she now looks forward to it. Her daughter said, “She does a little dance in her wheelchair when Dan drives her.” Ms. Mary confirmed that she and Dan clicked from the very first drive but was complimentary of all the drivers. “They all drive so good and so carefully,” she said. “They put Jesus first in their driving and they care. They help check me in and help me remember what the doctor said. Everything they do is such a blessing.”

We are so thankful to provide this valuable service to Ms. Mary and so many other seniors in our community! https://www.hartfelt.org/transportation

DOUBLE your impact this Mother’s Day!

More than 80% of the seniors we serve are women—many of them mothers and grandmothers.

Through May 18th, every dollar you give to our Grocery Program will be matched—up to $10,000.

Right now, rising grocery costs mean more seniors are struggling, and we’re at risk of running out of funds.

👉 Give today to help us keep saying “Yes” when a senior calls asking for food.

This Mother’s Day, you can honor women who have spent their lives caring for others.

More than 80% of the seniors we serve are women—many of them mothers and grandmothers.

Many still enjoy cooking. It gives them independence, dignity, and a sense of purpose.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, every dollar (up to $10,000) donated to the Grocery Program May 1 through 18th is DOUBLED!

Your gift will deliver groceries to seniors’ doors so that they have food to eat.

👉 Give today in honor of a mother—and make TWICE the impact!
