💙 iCARE MONDAY | DID YOU KNOW?

More than 800,000 children in Florida are experiencing food insecurity, according to the latest Feeding America Map the Meal Gap data.

That number is difficult to read, but behind every statistic is a real person — a child, a family, a neighbor.

Hunger doesn’t always look the way we expect.

It may be the child sitting in a classroom.
The family living down the street.
The senior choosing between necessities.
The veteran quietly trying to make ends meet.

We may never know their entire story, but we can show them that somebody cares. 💙

From I Care, we want to thank everyone who cared enough to show up, volunteer, donate, and serve our community! Every helping hand, generous gift, and act of kindness made a meaningful difference.

Because you cared, we reached our first milestone by providing food and support to 100 families as we continue working toward our goal of feeding 5,000! 🎉🥫🍎

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, and we appreciate our community for allowing us to serve. Together, we are making an impact—one family, one act of kindness, and one caring heart at a time.

🎒💙 TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! 💙🎒

iCare is excited to partner with USA Unlimited for this amazing Back-to-School Community Event as we come together to support our students and families as they prepare for a successful school year!

At this event, children will be receiving a backpack, school supplies, a delicious meal, and a breakfast kit in support of the iCare Feed 5000 Campaign. Together, we are helping students start the school year prepared, encouraged, and cared for. 📚💙

Because a great day starts with a great morning, we want every child to walk into the first day of school feeling supported and ready to succeed.

A backpack helps equip their minds with the tools they need to learn, and a breakfast kit helps fuel their bodies so they can focus, grow, and reach their full potential. 🥣🍎✨

But the care doesn’t stop there! 💙

We are excited to share that Huffman Catering will also be providing a hot meal for the children and their families on the day of the event, bringing our community together around the table and making this day even more special. 🍽️❤️

Postponement reminder: This is just a reminder that iCare’s Feed the 5,000 5K has been postponed to Spring 2025

Join iCare for its annual 5K walk/run celebrating its 10th anniversary of helping individuals in need. The proceeds from this event will help provide Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts to low-income families and senior citizens.
