Meetings are held at the Cherokee County Show Barn & Exposition Center on the loop in Jacksonville on the second Thursday of each month (August - May) at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

Cherokee County’s Lookout 4-H Horse judging team placed 3rd in Reasons today at the 4-H State Roundup competition! And November made the top 10 in Individual Reasons! Very proud of these girls for their hard work in some stiff competition!

Lookout 4H Club members had the honor of hosting the Sohn family as their guest speakers at our March meeting. Stephen and Kristen Sohn operate a home-based rescue for local dogs and cats and have greatly impacted our area over the years. As part of our county-wide service project, we were able to donate many pet-related supplies to them to say Thank You and encourage them in their ongoing efforts!

Soooo proud of all the Lookout 4-H horse judging girls who competed at the District 5 competition in Tyler on Monday! Our Senior Team placed 1st and will advance to the state level competition in June! Two members made it into the top 3 individuals!Our Intermediate team placed second in their division and our one junior competitor did a fine job at her second competition!
I jus love these kids and admire their dedication to practice and scrutiny and public speaking!!!

It was our pleasure and a blessing for all to offer our services at Elijah’s Retreat Fall Festival once again. Our Jacksonville Lookout 4-H volunteers ran the Goat Scramble! We love being a part of this community event, raising awareness for autism. Thank you so much parents and kids who gave of their time and hearts on 11/15/25.
