Meetings are held at the Cherokee County Show Barn & Exposition Center on the loop in Jacksonville on the second Thursday of each month (August - May) at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!

Tonight our 4-H club traded our usual meeting activities for a fun night of bowling at Highland Lanes Bowling & Fun Center! We had a great time spending time together, cheering each other on, and of course, trying to get those strikes! 😄

Thank you to everyone who came out and made tonight such a fun event! 💚🍀

Our September meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 14th at 6:30 pm at the Show Barn in Jacksonville! We hope to see you there!

🍀🎳 Strike Up Some Fun with Lookout 4-H! 🎳🍀

Our 2026–2027 Lookout 4-H Officers wanted to kick off the new 4-H year in the best way they could imagine… with an evening full of fun, friendship, and everything we love about 4-H!

Before we dive into a busy season of livestock shows, photography contests, horticulture projects, meetings, and competitions, they wanted to bring everyone together for one night to reconnect, welcome new faces, and give you a sneak peek at all the exciting things they have planned for this year.

And honestly… what better way to do that than bowling with your 4-H friends? 🎳💚

Whether you’ve been in 4-H for years or you’ve been wondering what it’s all about, we’d love for you to join us!

Cherokee County’s Lookout 4-H Horse judging team placed 3rd in Reasons today at the 4-H State Roundup competition! And November made the top 10 in Individual Reasons! Very proud of these girls for their hard work in some stiff competition!

Lookout 4H Club members had the honor of hosting the Sohn family as their guest speakers at our March meeting. Stephen and Kristen Sohn operate a home-based rescue for local dogs and cats and have greatly impacted our area over the years. As part of our county-wide service project, we were able to donate many pet-related supplies to them to say Thank You and encourage them in their ongoing efforts!

Soooo proud of all the Lookout 4-H horse judging girls who competed at the District 5 competition in Tyler on Monday! Our Senior Team placed 1st and will advance to the state level competition in June! Two members made it into the top 3 individuals!Our Intermediate team placed second in their division and our one junior competitor did a fine job at her second competition!
I jus love these kids and admire their dedication to practice and scrutiny and public speaking!!!
