Halfpint Haven Feral Rescue

Halfpint Haven Feral Rescue We are trying to help the feral cat population in Jacksonville Florida. We also have friendly cats and kittens available for adoption usually.

Halfpint^^Haven was started many years ago in Jacksonville Florida to help animals in need. We specialized at the time with Greyhounds, mainly seniors, and Borzoi along with the occasional Whippet and IG in need. Also we have always helped cats as we could, as well as maintain a colony of Ferals and practice TNR. We help any other breeds of dogs, cats, and any other creature that needs us that we

are able to assist. We do this out of our personal pockets and unfortunately we no longer have the assets and income that we did. But we do what we can, not on as big of a scale as before, but each life counts.

🎯 Feline calicivirus was the most prevalent co-infection in cats with FIP, and presence of chronic gingivostomatitis was significantly associated with FCV.
The study, published in Viruses MDPI , and co-authored by Katrin Hartmann Regina Hofmann-Lehmann and Andrea Spiri looked at coinfections in cats with FIP.
