Bikers for Breast Cancer 2026
Riding With Purpose!

More than motorcycles, this is a community coming together for a cause that touches so many families.

Through The Edith Marie Foundation, we’re turning compassion into action, raising awareness, providing hope, and helping breast cancer patients facing financial challenges.

Every rider, every supporter, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

Together, we’re making an impact, one family at a time!

Today, The Edith Marie Foundation received a call from a breast cancer patient who shared that she found our organization listed as a resource on the Susan G. Komen app.

We’re grateful that our foundation is being recognized as a resource for breast cancer patients and their families.

However, I believe there’s an important conversation that needs to be had.

While national organizations like Susan G. Komen have access to significant funding and resources, smaller, community based nonprofits are often the ones responding directly to families who need help paying their rent, utilities, and other basic living expenses during treatment.

We welcome the referrals, but as those calls increase, so does the need for financial support to assist these families.

A referral connects someone to help. Funding makes that help possible.

My hope is that larger organizations and corporations will recognize the importance of not only referring families to local nonprofits, but also financially supporting the organizations they’re referring them to.

Because when a breast cancer patient calls us for help, we want to be in a position to say YES!

LIKE. COMMENT. SHARE. DONATE.

Every action helps us reach more families fighting breast cancer. Your engagement spreads awareness, and your donations allow us to provide direct financial assistance when families need it most.
Help us turn awareness into action

MY HEART IS SO FULL.

All week long, the forecast called for rain. I watched it, prayed about it, and kept moving forward with the expectation that we were going to have an amazing day.

And we did.

The rain held off, we had a beautiful ride, and from the moment people began arriving, there was just this incredible feeling in the atmosphere.

For me, that was nothing short of a miracle.

I can’t tell you how many people said to me, “You can feel the love here.”

That meant EVERYTHING to me because that’s exactly what I wanted this day to be.

We laughed, ate, enjoyed amazing music by MVP Band and watched our community come together. Customers from the dealership supported us, riders traveled from other cities, and it truly felt like FAMILY.

The most special part of the day was honoring three beautiful Breast Cancer Warriors.

Each Warrior received a personalized illuminated crystal featuring her picture and a special message from The Edith Marie Foundation. Watching their emotions as they received them was a moment I will never forget.

A special THANK YOU to MB Banks 3ETCH, Turning Moments Into Forever Memories, for donating these beautiful gifts.

We were also blessed to provide financial assistance to two of our three Warriors. Our 83 year old Warrior graciously shared that she didn’t need financial assistance and was simply grateful to be honored and celebrated.

Both Warriors who received financial assistance later told us their gifts would go toward their mortgages.

That touched me because THIS is the mission.

Breast cancer doesn’t stop the mortgage, utility bill, groceries or everyday responsibilities of life. Saturday, we were blessed to provide financial relief where it was needed while making sure all three of our Warriors felt seen, celebrated and loved.

There are far too many people who helped make this day possible for me to name everyone. If you donated, registered, rode, volunteered, performed, purchased, prayed, shared, worked behind the scenes or simply SHOWED UP, THANK YOU.

To our incredible event partners:

Adamec Harley Davidson Jacksonville, thank you for believing in our vision and truly giving Bikers for Breast Cancer a home. Your generous support, resources and hospitality helped us bring this vision to life. You didn’t simply provide a location. You embraced our mission and welcomed our community.

Rare Breed Motorcycle Club, you showed up in a BIG way! The Jacksonville Chapter donated, cooked, served, cleaned and led a safe and successful ride. Rare Breed Chapters from Savannah, Atlanta, Fayetteville, Miami, Tampa and Bear also supported us financially, and Breed Brothers rode to Jacksonville to support this mission.

You served. You gave. You showed up. And we are grateful.

We wanted Bikers for Breast Cancer to feel like a FAMILY REUNION, and that’s exactly what happened.

ONE PURPOSE. ONE COMMUNITY. A WHOLE LOT OF LOVE.

And after a day like this, there’s only one thing left to say.

LET THE PLANNING BEGIN FOR BIKERS FOR BREAST CANCER 2027!

BIGGER. BETTER. AND EVEN MORE IMPACTFUL.

Our community showed up.

And LOVE showed out.

My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude.

Today, we received our very first referral call from the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The representative called to confirm our program guidelines because she has a breast cancer patient in Glynn County that she is referring to The Edith Marie Foundation for financial assistance.

Of course I had to ask…

“How did you hear about us?”

Her response…

The Edith Marie Foundation is listed on their resource portal.

She shared that this was the first time she had someone in our area who needed assistance.

That meant something to me.

Susan G. Komen is a name synonymous with breast cancer. Many businesses and organizations right here in our community support large national organizations and there is absolutely a place for that.

But what if some of those dollars stayed right here?

What if your donation helped a breast cancer patient in Jacksonville keep her lights on?

What if it helped a family in Brunswick or Kingsland keep a roof over their heads?

What if the money you gave went DIRECTLY back into the communities where we live, work, worship and serve?

That’s what The Edith Marie Foundation does.

We may not have the biggest name.

We may not be the organization everybody knows… yet.

But we’re here.
We’re doing the work.
And families are being helped.

You may not be familiar with The Edith Marie Foundation now… but you will.

MORE THAN A RIDE.

Bikers for Breast Cancer is about more than motorcycles coming together on October 3rd.

It's about community coming together for families facing breast cancer.

It's the biker who rides in memory of his or her mother.

The survivor who fought and won.

The woman still in treatment who needs to know she's not fighting alone.

The family trying to keep the bills paid while navigating a breast cancer diagnosis.

And the community that says, We're here!

On October 3rd, we're bringing all of those people together for one mission.

You don't have to own a motorcycle.
You don't have to be part of a motorcycle club.
You simply have to care.
