Rescue Junkie Rescue Junkie is a 501 (c) (3) animal welfare organization that rescues dogs and cats from high kill shelters in Florida. We are a 100% volunteer group.

Rescue Junkie, Inc is a 501 (c) (3) animal rescue organization. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds are used to spay/neuter, vaccinate, microchip and provide foster and veterinary care for our rescue animals. Many of our rescue animals have pre-existing medical conditions such as heartworms and issues relating to malnourishment, etc. We find loving forever homes for our dogs

& cats and provide support to our adopters to assure all animals will acclimate and thrive in their new homes.

TINY TIM is an 8 year old Griffon mix who was recently surrendered to the shelter. He is house trained, 23 pounds, neutered, and good with other dogs (cats and kids unknown).

He's just a happy-go-lucky soul who is looking for a little love.

It's JUNE!

And this June just had her spay surgery so she is rehabbing in her kennel, but this sweet girl would really love a soft couch to land on. No idea how this 8 year old sweetheart ended up as a stray but she definitely belongs in a home where she can get and give SO much love and attention.

Meet Siren! (In our care since 6/12/2025)

This sweet girl is around 6 years old and weighs about 38 pounds. Siren has experience as a house-trained pet and already knows some great commands like sit, paw, and down, smart and well-mannered!

She's the perfect mix of playful and independent. Siren loves a little fun but is just as happy relaxing and doing her own thing. She's affectionate with staff and doesn't seem to mind most other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for many types of homes.
