From the family of Phyllis Clopton (CPT Comfort’s Mother in Law)

Phyllis went on to her celebration in heaven on the morning of 14 October. She passed peacefully with her husband Mike, daughter Brooke, son Taylor and her granddaughter Kinleigh at her side. We ask for continued prayers for the family at this time. If there are any questions, please message Brooke or Taylor. Arrangements will be posted once the details are made. Did you know that Brooke and Kinleigh have been at a special event in DC this weekend? Who was looking for sweet Kinleigh at the Tomb of the Unknowns? She did a great job.
Thank you CPT Kyle Comfort for your ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. You would be so very proud of your baby girl and Brooke is doing a fine job raising her and making sure your memory will never be forgotten!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved friend and race director Joel Denney. We were honored and privilege that he was a part of the Foundation and our lives. He was an amazing man. Please keep Nancy M Denney & the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Rest in Heaven dear friend until we meet again.

Mrs. Brooke Comfort and the CPT Kyle Comfort Foundation Board of Directors have decided to discontinue the Annual 5K Race, typically held each Veteran's Day weekend. This comes after much personal reflection and collective appreciation for the good will and financial support the Foundation has offered service members, families and organizations over the past five years. It is with great respect for the support of the sponsors, volunteers and participants in this annual event that the Board and Race Officials proudly conclude these fundraisers and allow others to take up other similar activities.
The Foundation has established an Endowment Scholarship in Kyle's name at Jacksonville State University, AL with the remaining funds; donations may be made in Kyle's name to either the CPT Kyle Comfort Foundation Endowment Scholarship or the Friends and Family of CPT Kyle Comfort ROTC Scholarship.
Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to everyone who answered the call to offer time, talent, equipment and financial support to this worthy cause.
May God Bless us all.

Only paid orders will be placed to preclude excess inventory.

Today was a perfect day for the 5th Annual 5K. Thank You to all who participated by volunteering, running, walking, and cheering from the sidelines. What we do would not be possible if we didn't have all of your support.
We hope that our work as a Foundation honors CPT Kyle Comfort everyday, and brings to those who we help Comfort during a time of need.

For those of you who are registered for the race tomorrow, packets can be picked up today at the Ft. McClellan Medical Mall today starting at 4:00 PM, Olive Garden is hosting our pre race dinner from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, dinner is free for all runners and just $5.00 for non runners.
If you haven't registered yet, don't worry we will have stations set up to register you on site today from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as tomorrow morning from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM.
The weather is going to be perfect for our 5th Annual 5K.

We are excited to share the artwork that will be proudly worn on the front of this year's 5K shirts. If you haven't registered make sure you do so soon, shirts are only guaranteed for those who are registered before race day. Help us meet our 5th Annual goal of 750 participants.
If you aren't an early riser or local don't worry; you can register with our "sleep in for Comfort" option on registration and get the amazing shirt and donate to a good cause.
