Hello CTK Raven Families,
We are so excited to begin the 26–27 school year at CTK — Home of the Ravens — and thrilled to welcome both new and returning Raven families.
As we prepare for another wonderful year, I want to share an important reminder: our school community thrives because of parent volunteers, parent interaction, and active participation. Your involvement strengthens our programs, supports our teachers, and enriches the experience for every student and family.
Before the school year kicks off, we are seeking parents who are willing tp support our community in the following roles:
Head Room Parent- The Head Room Parent supports the entire grade level by sending communications to Grade Level Room Parents, coordinating with FSA and school staff, and helping organize needs, events, and grade-wide initiatives. This role ensures consistency and clear communication across all classrooms.
Grade Level Room Parent- Grade Level Room Parents communicate directly with class parents and work closely with FSA and classroom teachers. Responsibilities include sharing classroom updates, assisting with classroom needs, coordinating events, and supporting teachers with communication throughout the year.
Grade Level Mentor -Grade Level Mentors welcome new families to CTK, reach out to introduce themselves, and serve as a friendly point of contact. Mentors help answer questions, provide helpful information, and check in with new families throughout the year to ensure they feel supported and connected.

If you would like to lend your talents and volunteer , we would love to have you join us please reach out and let us know. Your time and dedication make a meaningful difference, and our Raven community is stronger because of parents like you. Please consider stepping into one of these roles — your involvement truly matters.
Please don’t be intimidated by these roles. You will have full support from FSA, school staff, and fellow volunteers. We are here to guide you, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
