Under the direction of Worshipful Master Kevin Colcord, Oceanview Masonic Lodge No. 408 had the first official visit of the District Deputy Grand Master Allen Barcus and his committeeman. We had chicken cordon blu, greens, mac and cheese, Hawaiian rolls, pies, cake, and so much more. Then it was time for a very well put together meeting. All went exceptionally well and W. Darryl Howard received an award from the District Deputy Grand Master accompanied by a commemorative plaque. R.W. Mike Pease is in Scotland. Wherever you are, may we be in your hearts, and safe travels to you all.

What an amazing turnout for Oceanview Lodge No. 408's Family Night Dinner!!! Great conversation was had with Brothers and family. Getting out, bonding with community and celebrating together, three great ingredients for excellent cement bonding us together this evening. Too many greats to name individually, that's what dinner is like with Freemasons. Thanks to all that could come out and for those that couldn't make it for whatever unfortunate reasons, see ya next month! 😁

Another grade A practice by the Brothers of Oceanview Lodge No. 408. It fills us with pride to hammer on the details and smooth out our work. Worshipful Kevin Colcord had his hands full as we all tried to find the balance between fun and functional. At one point he said "It's like rounding up a room full of cats" 🤣 We are ever so grateful for his patience with us and the zeal he has brought into the Lodge igniting it into a beacon of hope for other Lodges. Like a sailboat out at sea, we floated and some mates worried the sails wouldn't rise like they have before.. but gentleman, there's come winds of change, and we are goin places!

After a wonderful meeting and a most fantastic meal provided by R.W. Mike Pease, laughter and small talk was had, smiles and full bellies went home from this warm and enduring Lodge of ours. A safe place to get in from the hustle and commotion of the world, where we can eat and all get together and make greater things happen. Worshipful Kevin Colcord led the meeting, and we had in attendance P.M. of Indiana, Brother of Poplar Springs Lodge No. 415, Brother Curt Landers. Come join us for on our next Stated Communications Meeting on June 2nd. Dinner is at 6:30pm, Meeting is at 7:30. We hope to see you there!

Oceanview Lodge No. 408 had a very fulfilling dinner tonight at The Pig in Callahan. They were fantastic at accommodating our large group. Worshipful Kevin Colcord has done it again! His leadership has ignited passion in the craft, enthusiasm in our hearts and pride in our work. Pictured below he is sitting with Brother Joe Nordeng Jr. (Son of Brother Joe Nordeng Sr, to his left in the picture) establishing a vision for the coming years, taking time with each Brother and connecting us blocks like good cement. So many turned out tonight for another great Family Night.

Brothers …. As most of you are aware RW Hugh Maston laid down his working tools this past Saturday.

Just received word that his funeral will be this Saturday at 1:00 at Hardage Giddens, located at 11891 San Jose Blvd.

At Oceanview Masonic Lodge No. 408 F.&.A.M. stated Communications this evening, we had the pleasure of celebrating our much beloved Brother Robert C Williams's 96th birthday! 🥳🎂🎉 Worshipful Kevin Colcord led the meeting with harmonious productivity. Past Right Worshipful- Junior Warden Terry Kutch provided a wonderful meal of a variety of top notch sub sandwiches, no one left hungry. He really knocked it out of the park again this time. Laughter, fellowship, and even some education for good measure was enjoyed by all. Always a special evening when you can sit in a room with Right Worshipful Mike G. Pease, a titan of men. Oceanview also would not be the thriving Lodge it is without the devoted attendance of Senior Steward, Brother Joe Nordeng Jr. (Little Joe), sitting to the right and next to his father Worshipful Joe Nordeng Sr.

It was a superb evening of fellowship and a hearty meal. Brother Bobby Kickliter drove a fiery presentation full of vision and spirit for the craft. Under a barage of heavy questions he kept his wits and answered them from the heart. When asked what he's gonna do for the Fraternity, he said not much, that's the job of every Mason, it would be his job to help guide and provide resources for us to succeed. What he may appear to lack in confidence and design, we can be well assured his zeal and determination will provide an enduring path for many to follow.
