Yesterday was our company dancer and faculty teacher Gabriella Garavelo-Bortoletoā€™s birthday! Gabriella Garavelo Bortoleto šŸ¦‹

āœØThis is her 3rd season with The Florida Ballet! She shares what makes her fall in love with dance over and over again:

ā€œI think the beautiful thing about dance is that it gives me a million little reasons to fall in love with it all over again. Itā€™s the feeling of being onstage and completely lost in the moment, the magic of watching an idea become a creation, and those quiet ā€œIā€™ve made itā€ moments when I realize Iā€™m living a dream I had as a little girl.

But as Iā€™ve grown, Iā€™ve also fallen in love with the opportunity to create my own work. To coach, teach, and mentor the next generation of dancers and hopefully help them find the same joy and sense of purpose that dance has given me. Thereā€™s so much gratitude in getting to do what I once only dreamed about, and I think that gratitude is what keeps me falling in love with dance, over and over again.ā€
