Auditions for The Nutcracker are just around the corner, and we want you to join us on stage this holiday season.

The Florida Ballet is proud to be Northeast Florida’s only professional ballet company, bringing Roberto Forleo’s The Nutcracker to audiences for two magical weekends at two spectacular venues: the Thrasher-Horne Center in Orange Park and the UNF Fine Arts Center’s Lazzara Performance Hall in Jacksonville.

Your artistry, expertise, and encouragement made a lasting impact on our students, challenging them to grow while inspiring them to reach new heights. We are so grateful for the passion and dedication you shared with each dancer throughout your stay.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Dulce Anaya passed away in the early morning of July 13.

Dulce was a true dance legend who gave so much to the city of Jacksonville. Through her passion, extraordinary talent, and unwavering dedication, she inspired and touched countless lives, leaving an enduring legacy in our community.

She is now dancing with the angels. Please keep her in your prayers and in your heart. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
