We are an organization of young working people who fight for full-time jobs, higher wages, better benefits, safer working conditions, dignity at work, and a brighter future. The Young Workers of Jacksonville is a part of the North Florida Central Labor Council. As young workers in Jacksonville, we see a bleak future forced on us by banks, corporations and the government. We work two, sometimes thr

ee part-time jobs to make ends meet. We make poverty wages that aren't enough to raise a family or have a dignified life. We face harassment from our supervisors and management. We don't get enough hours at work. We're often asked to put our own health and safety at risk by our employers. And we see our chances of a decent retirement going down the drain each day. Most of all, we say, "Enough is enough!" Young workers in Jacksonville are getting organized to fight for a better future in the bold new city of the South. E-Mail us - [email protected]
