The popular PhotoJax celebration, an interactive festival highlighting local photography, will return in early 2016 with a fresh focus. While the PhotoJax organization will host special events throughout 2015, the main festival will be a year later than anticipated to allow for additional planning and fundraising.
Noting that photography and video are more accessible and more a part of daily life than ever before, PhotoJax organizers say they plan to refocus the 2016 festival to be more about photography as a common bond and storytelling tool.

The PhotoJax page will be updated throughout the year with news and event information. The festival is currently hoping to add to its team of passionate volunteers and is looking in particular for people with experience with special events, fundraising or social media. If interested, please send a brief bio via Facebook.
