This year, the Crystal Springs Elementary PTA has diligently laid the groundwork to reinvigorate our organization. With the foundational work in place, the crucial next step is to engage the most vital component of all - parents.
The active participation of parents, faculty, and community stakeholders is paramount for the PTA’s success and growth. There are numerous avenues through which you can contribute to the PTA’s initiatives. We are keen on expanding our executive committee by appointing roles such as Vice President, Programs Chair, Fundraising Chair, Communications Chair, auxiliary volunteers, and much more. It is our aspiration to witness a flourishing involvement of parents as we foster and enhance our school community.
We are also currently seeking individuals who are interested in joining our PTA’s Nominating Committee. This committee plays a vital role in identifying highly qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. Unlike other PTA committees, the nominating committee is elected by the general membership rather than appointed by the president. Effective candidates for nominating committees are familiar with the needs and goals of the PTA, demonstrate sound judgement in evaluating potential candidates, and are capable of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
