Reconstructing Dreams We work directly with shelters, law enforcement agencies, and the courts to further our mission.

Reconstructing Dreams was founded from a desire to help restore the lives, confidence and self-esteem of women who have been victimized by physical and s*xual violence. Through our network of plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeons and other our healthcare providers, we are able to remove the physical reminders of abuse. By being able to rid themselves of the physical "scars" left behind, v

ictims are able to heal more quickly from the emotional scars and return to normal, productive, and happy lives.

Our services are offered, free of charge, to women who have fallen victim to domestic violence, s*xual assault, s*x trafficking and other violent crimes. Reconstructing Dreams, through our compassionate and capable volunteers, connect victims with healthcare providers who specialize in the kind of care they need. We accept survivors without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, s*xual orientation, religion or country of origin, and we make efforts to minimize barriers to support by providing bi-lingual volunteers whenever possible.
