Three Grains of Rice Missions We are a non-profit organization focused on fighting homelessness and helping women and children in need.

Three Grains of Rice Missions is a 501(c)(3) corporation that was created in July 2016 by Ed and Stacey Perez to cultivate lifelong relationships between society and non-profit organizations by connecting people to volunteer opportunities. Our mission is to energize society to embrace social responsibility and personal accountability for the well-being of those in need. Our passion is ending homelessness, empowering women and nurturing our youth through awareness, volunteerism, education, personal interaction and the organization of projects and activities within our local community and abroad.

This week we were blessed to have a group of missionaries from Canada and multiple states join us in the mission field. What truly made it special was how our community came together to cook a southern style meal for them as a thank you.

Impactful day!! Our team of volunteers started their morning at 6:00 a.m. Today we served 317 families. God is Good.

This Labor Day, we’re thinking about the hands behind the work.

The hands that sort donations, pack bags, load boxes, move food, greet families, direct traffic, clean up, and come back and do it all again.

At Three Grains of Rice Missions, so much of what happens each week is made poissible by people willing to roll up their sleeves and serve their neighbors.

Today, we celebrate the value of work, the dignity of every worker, and the volunteers and community partners who give their time and energy to make our mission possible.

Happy Labor Day from Three Grains of Rice Missions
