Testimony from the Mission Team in Tha Kham Village, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
“Mr. Amphon Phutphueak (Uncle Pao), 62 years old, has come to believe in Jesus and has been baptized. However, due to partial paralysis, he is unable to attend Bible study groups. The team has therefore spent time studying the Bible with him personally, helping him remain firm in his faith in Jesus.
Uncle Pao lives alone in a rented house (owned by his father). He is able to take care of himself to some extent. However, in early April, he was hospitalized with pulmonary edema and a lung infection. Even during his illness, he continued to think of Jesus and gave thanks to God, who provided someone to care for him. A fellow believer (Khun Boom) came to help look after him.
Through this, Uncle Pao experienced the love of God and realized that Jesus has never abandoned him. At present, he has been discharged from the hospital, but he is no longer able to care for himself as before. Khun Boom’s family continues to take care of him.”
