The Premier Business Alliance is holding their 3rd Healthcare Education and Career Fair “Documentation Dos and Donts in a Ramped Up Regulatory Environment: The Clinical Documentation Improvement Guide for Providers ” is being held April 23, 2016 at the Kight Center at Indian River State College in Ft Pierce, Florida. We are offering 6 CEU’s for Medical Assistants, coders, billers, auditors and compliance officers and nurses. Nationally recognized speakers Susan Thurston, CPC, CPC-I, CPC-H, CPC-P, MCS-P, CHCA, CHCO, CCS-P and Daria Bonner, CHCA, CCP, RMC will be presenting on how providers can enhance documentation practices and pass regulatory reviews with ease in their own practices. The conference will address requirements for to pass documentation reviews for ICD-10, RAC, HCC and other regulatory auditing agencies. Our special guest speak is Ft Pierce Mayor Linda Hudson. The cost for attendees is only $85 if register by March 23 and $95 per attendee after that date. Registration includes breakfast, lunch and attendance to all sessions. The cost for vendor table is $125.00 and includes two tickets for 8 foot table, breakfast, lunch, and one attendee access to all training. We will also be holding a Career Fair to assist attendees with finding local career opportunities with employers seeking healthcare professionals. Greetings! My name is Pat Gallagher with Pricewaterhouse. I hope note finds you well. I am reaching out across the country because we are currently looking to contract both full and part time remote Inpatient Physician Coders to contract directly with Pricewaterhouse within a new program we call the Talent Exchange. We are looking for certified coder with CPC and certified in ICD-10, with a minim of 5 years professional coding and physician interaction and training experience a requirement a MUST Position Requirements: Bachelors degree in a business-related field preferred (not required) . Five years experience with CPT/ICD-10 CM coding. Will consider 5 plus years of experience in EPIC/EMR’s revenue cycle and/or billing operations for a multi-physician clinical practice. (Knowledge of IDX, Siemens Invision and Quadramed a plus.) Comprehensive knowledge of professional services coding including; in hospital care, critical care, and emergency services. I want to thank the current officers as well as the past officers that came to the meeting tonight. I know the meeting was lengthy but, feedback, new ideas,was priceless. I will include you ladies in the loop for networking between the chapters. I will be sending the minutes out no later than Thursday.
