Beautiful crisp Fall day. Guest of honor PDD Keith Shearin, Worth Pack Leader, swore in the new officer slate. PDD Ray Randall, Pound and Pack Dog Robber was awarded The Pound Dog of the Year medal and certificate. Mongrel Jeff Marty was welcomed as a new Pup and sworn in. We collected 147 lbs of dog chow, 39 lbs of cat chow and 1 dog treat. Also, PDD Dennis Fusco brought six 13 gallon bags of winter clothing for the relief drive from Hampstead Detachment. 16 Dogs present.

Growl this Saturday, October 19 @ 0830 chow, 0930 growl. Doghouse: Swansboro Moose Lodge, 161 Norris Road. Bring dog or cat chow for Operation Chow Hound, Big Bones for the Children’s’ Fun, and winter clothing (boots, coats, gloves, socks, scarves, etc.) for the relief drive of Onslow County Detachment #262. Elections will be held.
