Trey Robert Ring
February 24, 1999 ~ January 7, 2026
26 years old

A memorial service for Trey Robert Ring, 26 of Alto, is pending. Trey passed away Wednesday, January 7, in Alto. He was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, February 24, 1999 to Lisa Ring and John Ring. Trey’s family moved to Richland Hill, Georgia when he was still young. After high school Trey enlisted in the U.S. Army and went to 3rd Calvary Regiment at Fort Hood as a Forward Observer. After less than six weeks he was deployed to Qayyarah Airfield West in Northern Iraq, commonly know as Q-West. He was there for almost 9 months as a combat veteran. His comrades said he was known for his patriotism and serving his country and was always there to help a fellow soldier when they were down. He served from November 2018 until December of 2020. After coming back to the U.S., Trey participated with his Dad who was the founder of walkforvets.org, in walks across the country to promote awareness for veterans with PTSD and su***de prevention. In January 2024 Trey moved to Alto to be with the love of his life, Kynzie. Trey went to work for Duplichain Contractors and loved hunting and fishing. He quickly adapted to small town life and really loved the people here. He was an amazing stepdad to AJ and Aiken and became a father in November to a beautiful daughter Adelaide (Addie), whom he adored. Trey loved laughing and being around his family and will be remembered for his kind heart, soft spoken words, his beautiful eyes and smile.

Trey is leaving behind life partner Kynzie Germany and their daughter Adelaide Ring, bonus boys Aaron and Aiken Foster all of Alto; mother Lisa Ring of Bluffton, SC; father John Ring of Hilton Head, SC; sisters, Grier Ring and Taliesin Ring of Georgia; brother Wyatt Ring of SC and grandparents Marlene Kocher of SC and Sherry Sentiwany of Pennsylvania.
