Did you know? The earliest Memorial Day observances was led by formerly enslaved African Americans in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1865, as they honored fallen Union soldiers.

Court Spotlight: J.S. Trobridge Court No. 9 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we proudly spotlight J.S. Trobridge Court No. 9 for their heartfelt act of service and remembrance at the Bay Pines Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where they placed flags on the graves of our fallen Veterans.

Present in support of this meaningful tribute was our Grand Court Queen, RM Lisa Chambers, a proud retired Army Veteran whose charitable initiative is dedicated to honoring and supporting Veterans.

Also participating were:

Today, we honor not only those who made the ultimate sacrifice, but also those who continue to preserve their memory through service and community action.

Elisha Court No. 6, hosted an amazing Glow in the Dark Paint & Sip Night and it was truly a glowing success! 🎨🌟

From neon colors and creative masterpieces to laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable memories, the evening beautifully showcased the spirit of sisterhood, unity, and fun within our beloved organization. 💫

Events like these remind us that fellowship strengthens the bond of our courts while creating meaningful moments of connection and joy.

We applaud Elisha Court No. 6 for their creativity, energy, and commitment to keeping sisterhood vibrant and engaging! 👏🏽💜

Glow in the dark, good music, paint, and great company. Nothing better than laughing, creating, and enjoying each other.

💜 Some battles are invisible.
Some warriors smile through pain you could never imagine. 💜 May is Lupus Awareness Month, and today we stand with every Lupus warrior fighting silent battles every single day.

Our very own RM Cassandra Montgomery shared these powerful words:

“Lupus is currently not curable... I fight for my health every day in ways that most people could never understand.”

That hit differently. 💔

Too many people suffer quietly while still showing up for their families, careers, communities, and organizations with strength and grace.

Today, we ask you to do 3 things:

Today, we honor not only mothers who gave birth, but every woman who has nurtured, guided, protected, prayed for, encouraged, and loved a child as her own.

To the grandmothers, guardians, aunties, cousins, godmothers, mentors, bonus moms, and every woman whose love has helped shape generations...we celebrate you today.

Motherhood is not defined only by birth, but by the love, sacrifice, wisdom, and care poured into others every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the phenomenal women who mother with their hearts. 💜

✔ Choosing growth over excuses

That’s LOCOP.
