Our 2024 Gift Basket Raffle was another successful fundraiser for our club. We sold 562 tickets for a chance to win one of our 11 baskets! That may be less tickets sold than last year but still quite an accomplishment. Pictured below is some of our ladies that sold winning tickets and a few of our beautiful baskets that was raffled off.

Last years gift baskets that was raffled off. It was an excellent idea/fundraiser for our group, one that allowed us to help even more people within our community. We hope to have another successful raffle with just as many baskets if not more, this year.

We were so fortunate to have a guest speaker at our February meeting. President Joni Ginn invited Summer Jenkins, Director of Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center, to come and tell us all about their organization. We gained a lot of insight to their organization and the scope of their mission. The JCOC recently won an award for most innovative food bank out of 9 counties! That is something we can all be proud of! Summer will also be a guest speaker at our central district meeting in March which our local chapter is hosting. It will be at the Berman Museum on the 18th and all members are invited.
