United Way of Onslow County

❤️💙 Look who came to visit us here at United Way!! 💙❤️

It’s Jessica, the winner of the 2024 Chevy Trax! 🚙🎉

We were so excited to see her and hear that she absolutely LOVES her car! Even better, Jessica is still supporting United Way! ❤️

She stopped by today to pick up campaign materials for Jones-Onslow EMC, and we couldn’t resist getting a picture with our 2024 winner!

Thank you, Jessica, for continuing to support United Way and our community. It was so great seeing you! 🥰

💙 When our community comes together, lives change.

Every day, United Way of Onslow County is working to meet the needs of our neighbors—from making sure children have food on the weekends through CHEW, to connecting families with critical resources, supporting local nonprofits, mobilizing volunteers, and creating pathways toward greater stability.

But we can’t do this work alone.

Your gift to United Way helps turn community generosity into real impact.
🎥 Watch our campaign video. See the impact. Then be part of it.

Your donation—whether $10, $25, $50, or more—helps United Way continue addressing the needs that matter most in Onslow County.

Give today. Because when we LIVE UNITED, our entire community moves forward together.

💙 TOGETHER, WE’RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! 💙

The CHEW (Children Healthy Eating on Weekends) program is helping make sure local children have nutritious food to take home for the weekend. Every backpack represents a child who can look forward to a little more security when school is out. 🎒❤️

Here’s the impact YOU made in September!

🎒 4,207 backpacks prepared and distributed
👧 1,158 children served
🙌 738.75 volunteer hours donated
📦 41 family boxes prepared for school social workers to assist families facing additional needs

This impact doesn’t happen without our incredible volunteers, donors, school partners, and community supporters who continue to show up for the children and families of Onslow County.

Together, we’re filling backpacks, supporting families, and building a stronger community—one child at a time.

Consider sponsoring a child this school year! https://www.uwonslow.org/chew

📣 CHEW FOOD DRIVE — HELP US FILL THOSE BAGS! 🎒❤️

We’re taking over Walmart on Yopp Road and we need our amazing community to show up BIG for local children!

📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍 Walmart – Yopp Road, Jacksonville

While you’re shopping, grab a few extra items for CHEW! We especially need canned meals, mac & cheese, breakfast cereal, oatmeal, canned vegetables, granola bars, and snacks.

Every item donated helps us fill weekend food bags for children right here in Onslow County. One can, one box, or one bag of food may seem small—but together, those donations make a HUGE difference! 💙
