It's not too early to think about the 2-day workshop offered by the Jacksonville Watercolor Society!

The workshop is going to be conducted by both Janet and Steve Rogers! The two day workshop promises to be a unique opportunity to study with two nationally acclaimed artists.

Janet will demonstrate various “fun” exercises geared to interpret flowers in an expressive manner. Discovering the unique “nature” of individual flowers and “finding” new colors will be highlighted.

Steve will be “Painting Light in Watercolor.” Steve begins by training students to observe light with intention. He emphasizes that successful watercolor isn’t just about color—it’s about value, contrast, and the direction of light.

You won't want to miss this!!!

The Jacksonville Watercolor Society extends its sincere thanks to LuAnn Dunkinson for leading the "Watercolor Beginner's Basics" workshop on Saturday! Your clear instruction, thoughtful demonstrations, and genuine enthusiasm created an inviting learning experience for our members. JWS appreciates the time, care, and expertise you shared and we are so grateful for the inspiration you brought to the class not just for the beginners but also members who just wanted a refresher!

The Jacksonville Watercolor Society is offering a 1-Day workshop on Saturday, July 18th, from 9:30-4:00 PM, taught by the very talented LuAnn Dunkinson! Check out just a few of her award winning paintings!
If you are a true beginner, need a refresher, or just feel like having some fun painting- this workshop is for you! Everyone will go home feeling more comfortable with watercolor and a painting to be proud of!

JWS will be holding a beginner's workshop, titled "Watercolor Beginner's Basics", instructed by LuAnn Dunkinson, on July 18th. All levels are invited to attend to brush up on basic techniques.
