We want to wish Leah Calhoun from Arbor House Restaurant a very Happy 50th Birthday today!

She shares a little about the legacy of her family restaurant and how she shares the love of community through the quality of ingredients and lots of love that they put in all of their food.

Leah was one of the first restaurants to get on board with the Black Barn Go Program to transform surplus ingredients into nutritious and delicious meals served with dignity to people in need in our community.

Tonight! The Kindness Effect is serving food TONIGHT and every Thursday on the playground side of Hawthorne Park until 7:30 or until they run out of food.

Black Barn Go Program contributed the Brunswick Stew to this beautiful meal from our newest restraunt collaboration with Chef Billy at Salt & Fire Ashland!
