Elpis International Elpis International . . . bringing HOPE to the hopeless! Elpis is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing hope to the hopeless in Ethiopia.

Our mission is to bring hope by providing children in need with nutritional food, clothing, quality education, health care and the hope found in Jesus Christ. Elpis is run by stateside volunteers and Ethiopian staff, supported by program advisers and funded by donors who share a passion for bringing hope to the hopeless.

Here are the duffles your Elpis volunteers, packed, sorted and weighed for the upcoming trip. Thank you to our sponsors for turning in backpacks on time. This is THE week to turn in your child’s backpack for our upcoming trip to Ethiopia!! The Elpis volunteers need to have plenty of time to weigh and pack them up securely. The drop off locations are Mercy Hill Church in Yulee, Florida, Callaway Contracting in Jacksonville, or to any one of our Elpis volunteers. Please remember to put any liquid products in a ziplock bag to prevent spillage and to include your check list of the items you purchased. Any questions please reach out.

As we approach our upcoming trip to Ethiopia, it would be so nice to let Tamirat know he finally has a sponsor.
He is the last child without a sponsor at the Awassa Feeding Center. Tamirat is a sweet and kind kindergartener who has two sisters. He enjoys playing chase and running. For $60 a month you can change his life by providing 3 meals a day, schooling, health care and sharing the love of Christ.
