Our efforts are guided not only by collected data and feedback from the community, but also by the following principles:
* The future of any community is only as good as the future citizens it nurtures.
* Addressing problems means addressing people through communication and education in which all aspects (economic, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental) are consi
dered.
* More comprehensive and systemic change results from programs that target prevention over intervention.
* Education (formal and informal) is the fundamental means for change.
* Enlisting all stakeholders is necessary for attainable and systemic change.
* Solutions must be arrived at by clearly identifying problem areas and root cause(s) and then carefully applying sustainable preventative programs that have been incubated and scaled.
* The success of a program must be measured not only by those it has helped but also by those it did not harm. Educate
