A lot of the youth who walk into our Life C.A.M.P. feel exactly like that. They’ve been labeled or told what they can’t do so often that they start to believe the future is something that just happens to them: not something they build.

But here’s the shift: We don’t do labels. We do "empowered."

The second a student arrives feeling overwhelmed, we get to work showing them how to grab the wheel. It’s about moving from being afraid of what’s coming to owning every single step of the journey. When you realize you have the tools to handle adversity and make your own decisions, the future starts looking a lot less scary and a lot more like an opportunity.
