Stimming is very important for the health of Autistic people. Most importantly because it allows autistic people to center themselves and cope with extraneous sensory environments. Since non-autistic people may not have the same reaction to these sensory environments, they often see stimming as disruptive, and while some stim behaviors might even go as far to be destructive, most arent and ppl need to let autistic folks stim.
