Hey Milo!!!!
Say hello to baby Milo! Together, we supported his momma so she didn’t choose to get an abortion.
Lila and Steven had been friends for years before they started dating. Initially, it seemed like they would make a happy couple, especially after the discovery of Lila's pregnancy. Then, Lila found out that Steven was still seeing his ex-girlfriend, and the joy of Lila’s baby was overshadowed by the pain of betrayal.
Steven’s ex was hurt too, and she wanted to get rid of Lila. She began to harass Lila and went so far as to offer her money to abort baby Milo.
Lila considered her situation. She was single and didn’t have a job, her family relied on government aid, and she and her two children lived in an apartment that had more rats than available hot water. After considering her circumstances, a free abortion began to sound appealing.
Then, one of Lila’s family members encouraged Lila to contact Let Them Live.
On the phone, Lila informed her Let Them Live counselor that she was just waiting for Steven’s ex to send the check. “I just can’t fight anymore.” She shared.
Lila’s counselor worked hard to build Lila up and did all she could to counter the negativity coming from Steven and his ex. Then, overtime, the idea that Lila had ever wanted an abortion became a distant and regrettable memory.
