Austin has been in foster for a few weeks since he and his mother, Zoey, were rescued by Poochie's. Now, he has been medically cleared for adoption and boy is he ready!!

Austin and Zoey were suffering from a flea allergy and needed some TLC, but thanks to The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing and our amazing foster, Summer Duke Pridgen, both mom and baby have made amazing progress!

Austin, affectionately nicknamed Choopie, is a smart, snuggly, and goofy fella! He loves to play and gets along with other dogs, and even cats! 💕🐶 His favorite pastime is being curled up in his foster mom's lap, just like the baby he is!

‼️🐶 Kenny is still searching for a place to call her own 🐶‼️

Kenny, also lovingly called Kendall and Kenneth, has been waiting 3 months for someone to adopt her. Since she came into the rescue at 6 weeks old, she has been in foster care and we’re hoping to change that!

Kenny is a sweet, affectionate girl with a little bit of sass 😂 she loves to wrestle with her fellow Poochie’s fosters Fiona and Buddy. She’s inquisitive, adventurous, and ready to take on the world 🌎

Available Kitten— BENJI !!!

This little girlfriend was found in the undercarriage of someone’s car in the Oaks mall parking lot! You wouldn’t believe the crazy places people are finding kittens this kitten season!

Benji is a very sweet, if a little timid, white and gray tabby, medium haired kitten. She is about six weeks old, will come with all age-appropriate vaccines, including rabies, a clean f***l test, a microchip, a clean FELV/FIV test , and her spay surgery all included in her adoption!

This past Friday we were called in to help a momma dog and her baby boy after they were dumped on someone's property. Mom, who we've named Zoey, is very obviously underweight and dealing with flea allergy dermatitis. Her baby, Austin, outside of some bald patches and a wormy belly, is doing well.

We believe Momma Zoey is a Lab/Shepherd mix, about 2 years old, and getting the TLC she deserves. A few weeks of antibiotics and care and she'll be ready to find the family for her.

Austin is weaning off his mom and learning how to be a confident, happy puppy. He will continue to receive love from his foster family until he is ready for adoption!

🤍🐾Fiona is still searching for the one!! 🤍🐾

Fiona came back to Poochie's at the beginning of April 2025, after her home of 1.5 years had a baby and could no longer give her the attention she deserves 💔. Since then, she has been thriving under the roof of her foster home and learning how to be a dog again! 🎉❤️‍🩹

She is a true medium sized dog, weighing 26 lbs. Fiona is super human oriented and loves to meet new people. Her play style is both goofy and springy, you just have to see it! When she's excited, she tip-taps in place, it's the cutest thing ever!! Fiona is sweet, she's energetic, and is genuinely so, so eager to learn. If you think she could be yours forever, apply today.

Ty is one of those puppies that you fall in love with the second you meet him!! Our resident dinosaur lover named him after the Tyrannosaurus Rex, due to his tiny front legs and big head! He is smart, outgoing, and looking to find his family!!

Ty and his siblings were found abandoned in a box and found their way to Poochie's ❤️ Our amazing vet, The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing, has been on top of their care with us and he's now ready for adoption!
