CROWNS, CULTURE & CASH: ROYAL COURT RAISES $5K FOR THE ARTS - The Royal Court of Jacksonville celebrated its fourth anniversary Sept. 6 with a Bridgerton-inspired night of fashion, entertainment and philanthropy — raising $5,000 to support aspiring performing artists at the Grand Rose Ballroom.
Founded by Carla Cumberlander Brown, the Royal Court blends pageantry with purpose, benefiting scholarships through the Kiayana Imagine This Foundation, created in memory of Brown’s daughter and her passion for the arts.
Students from The Performance Academy showcased their talents during the Grand Rose Ballroom affair, while saxophonist David Sylvester provided live entertainment. The evening’s biggest moment arrived when Gabriel Jennings received a scholarship toward his studies at Full Sail University
Four years after its launch, the Royal Court continues to demonstrate that wearing the crown is only part of the celebration — giving back is the real royal tradition.
