THE SALVATION ARMY of Northeast Florida

10/20/2026

The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida invites you to join the Florida Division’s 24/7 Prayer Initiative through November 21, 2026. Join with us in praying this prayer today.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this new day and this moment to spend with You. Today, I bring before You everything I am carrying. Regrets, failures, worries, and plans – I lay at Your feet everything I have planned for the week ahead. I ask you to cleanse me of the distractions that busy my mind and to quiet my heart. I ask Lord for Your perfect peace right now.

Holy Spirit, I pray that You would breathe new life into me today. Renew my mind with Your truth. Forgive me, release me from fear, and any lies that I’ve allowed to fill my mind. Encourage my heart with the nearness of Your presence. Allow me to know the confident hope that is found in You alone. Realign my desires with Your will. Where my strength ends, show me You are only beginning. Restore me to the fullness of joy that is found in Your presence. Remind me that I am Yours.

Jesus, as I prepare to step into the demands of the day that lay ahead of me, go before me, walk beside me, and dwell within me. Bless me with Your wisdom and discernment for the responsibilities of today. Allow me to interact with others with grace and mercy. Purify my thoughts, anoint my lips, and allow me to reflect You. Thank you for the blessing of this new day and Your promise that Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness, God Almighty.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Every night, hope begins with a safe place to rest. ❤️ Over the past year, The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida has provided more than 30,000 nights of lodging through our Transitional Living Center at The Towers Center of Hope.

Behind every night of shelter is a person or family taking steps toward a brighter future—with access to safe housing, nutritious meals, case management, life skills, and the support they need to regain stability and independence.

Because of the generosity of our community, lives are being transformed every day. Thank you for helping us provide more than just a bed—you help restore hope.

Together, we're changing lives...one night, one person, one family at a time. ❤️

Florida Divisional Commander, Lt. Colonel Kent Davis, traveled to the Panhandle this week to spend time with Salvation Army officers, Emergency Disaster Services teams and volunteers working to bring relief to communities impacted by Hurricane Isaias. Through shared prayers, preparations and visits to service locations, his leadership and presence uplifted the teams still working hard every day, passing out provisions and giving of themselves. Continued prayers to those affected by the storm and those who are sharing their lives and love to help. ❤️ For updates: bit.ly/4yWIQHY To give: bit.ly/4jSdugI
