Come out to enjoy! And check out the playground addition.

Our JaxParks team are excited to announce that Friendship Fountain will officially reopen to the public on Thursday, April 17th at noon, following a temporary closure for necessary upgrades and aesthetic improvements.

During the closure, the Fountain received fresh paint and key mechanical upgrades to enhance its operation and appearance. The improvements also included final preparations for the new playground at St. Johns River Park, which will be open on Saturday, April 19th during Eggstravaganza.

The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department appreciates the community’s patience during this time and looks forward to welcoming everyone back to enjoy one of Jacksonville’s most iconic landmarks.

This survey is designed to gather your valuable feedback on your experiences at Friendship Fountain, including what you have enjoyed and what can be improved.
