ACE Foundation of Florida is proud and grateful to have been represented at the 30th Annual Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Conference of Northeast Florida, presented by UF CARES.

Our Executive Director, Dr. Joseph Ellyson, MBA, PhD, was honored to participate as a speaker during “Closing the Gap: Outreach, Testing & Treatment on the First Coast.” The session focused on the importance of strengthening community outreach, expanding access to testing and treatment, and building partnerships that help connect underserved individuals and families to care.

We are thankful to be included alongside so many outstanding leaders in infectious disease, HIV prevention, treatment, testing, research, and community outreach. Opportunities like this reinforce why collaboration matters and why community-based organizations must continue to have a strong voice in the conversation.

At ACE Foundation of Florida, our mission is rooted in meeting people where they are, reducing barriers to care, and building stronger connections between healthcare, behavioral health, recovery services, and community support.

We are grateful to UF CARES and all of the presenters, professionals, and advocates who continue to move this work forward.

Together, we can close gaps, expand access, and build healthier, stronger communities.

The problem? Too often, the people who need these resources don’t know where to find them.

💡 WE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

We created Feed Florida Now, a completely FREE, easy-to-use community resource directory that helps connect people with food assistance near them.

✅ Locate food pantries and grocery assistance
✅ Find free hot meals and mobile food distributions
✅ Discover programs serving children, seniors, and families
✅ Get directions and information about nearby resources
✅ Explore local farms and farmers markets

📱 No membership. No fees. No judgment. JUST HELP!

🏠 Two Beds Available Now at Hope House of Jacksonville

If you or someone you know is ready to take the next step in recovery, ACE Foundation’s Hope House of Jacksonville currently has 2 beds available for men in our East Arlington sober living home.

Our goal is to provide more than just a place to stay. Hope House offers a safe, structured, substance-free environment where men can rebuild their lives with accountability, peer support, encouragement, and a community focused on long-term recovery.

✅ Shared room: $650 per month
✅ East Arlington – Jacksonville, FL
✅ Safe and supportive sober living environment
✅ Peer support and accountability
✅ Recovery-focused community
✅ Resources to help residents move toward stability, independence, and a better future

At this time, beds are available for MEN ONLY.

What an amazing day of food, fun, music, fellowship, and community! ❤️🎶🍽️

We had such a great time sharing a Community Potluck with the senior residents of Madison Manor. There is something special about sitting around the table together, sharing a meal, laughing, listening to music, and simply enjoying one another’s company.

A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Tammy Williams for scheduling and coordinating everything and helping bring this beautiful gathering together. Thank you to Danielle for the amazing treats, Rocky for jumping in and helping, and to a few of the men from Hope House Sober Living who came out to serve and be part of the fellowship.

These moments remind us that community outreach is about more than providing resources—it is about building relationships, showing love, creating memories, and making sure people know they are valued and not forgotten.

We are grateful for every person who helped make this day special and especially thankful to the residents of Madison Manor for welcoming us! 💙

🚗 THIS IS WHAT PROGRESS LOOKS LIKE! 🙌

Today we get to celebrate another BIG WIN at Hope House of Jacksonville!

Congratulations to the second man in our program to purchase a vehicle! This isn't just about getting a car. This represents progress, independence, responsibility, hard work, and another step toward rebuilding a life.

At Hope House, success isn't measured by perfection. It's measured by progress—setting goals, staying focused, making better decisions, putting in the work, and continuing to move forward even when the journey gets difficult.

A vehicle means more than transportation. It means greater access to work, appointments, family, opportunities, and the freedom to continue building toward the future.

And what makes this even more exciting is that he's the SECOND man in the program to accomplish this! 🔥

These are the moments we celebrate because every victory shows the other men in the house what is possible.

Your past does not have to determine your future.

Keep working.
Keep growing.
Keep believing.
Keep leveling up.

One goal becomes another. One victory becomes momentum. And little by little, a completely different life starts taking shape.
