An amazing opportunity for quality after school activities! Check out the Boys & Girls Club at JSD 117!

Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about back to school and that means time to secure your spot at one of our fantastic after school sites:
1.Jacksonville Middle School
2.Lincoln Elementary
3.Murryville Woodson
4.North Elementary
5.South Elementary
6.Washington Elementary

Club enrollment opens on July 29. Enroll ASAP so you can start on the first day, August 14! Cost is only $40 for the entire school year and includes daily academic assistance, social emotional support, STEM, enrichment, snacks and so much MORE.

Micki Prevett of Fellowship of Christian Athletes accepts a check from Kevin Hinkle, Treasurer of the Jacksonville Youth Engagement Program (JYEP). The funds will provide scholarships for area grade school students to attend tennis, softball, volleyball, golf, baseball, basketball, and football camps. Also pictured are Beth Brockschmidt and Maryjane Bradbury of JYEP.

The program got its start in 2018, after representatives of the Tracy Family Foundation approached some of Jacksonville’s community leaders and asked for help.

Woods runs the Mainstreet Farm aGROWhood where 150 area youth will learn the importance of nutrients for good health, and how to grow food.
