Jazz on the Harbor – Sunset Flotilla

Settle in for a one-of-a-kind afternoon on the water where live jazz meets laid-back luxury.

Join us on Saturday Night, September 19 from 5:30–7:30 PM for a floating concert experience featuring the Raisin Cake Orchestra, performing from the dock of Chris and Jennifer Grippa at 1238 Windsor Harbor Dr. Designed as a boat event, members will gather by water (or meet up at the Grippa’s and hop on a boat), anchoring and rafting together to create a relaxed, social atmosphere with incredible live music.

The Raisin Cake Orchestra delivers the lively sounds and rhythms of traditional and New Orleans jazz—think upbeat brass, toe-tapping rhythms, and classic melodies that carry beautifully across the water. The band will perform two 50-minute sets with a short intermission in between.

We’ve intentionally scheduled this as a late afternoon event, so everyone can enjoy the music comfortably on the water—while enjoying the sunset, great weather, great company, and great jazz.

Event Details:

Location: 1238 Windsor Harbor Dr. Dock of Chris & Jennifer Grippa (across from the 9th tee box, formerly the 18th tee box)

Date & Time: Saturday, September 19, 2026 5:30–7:30 PM

Arrival: By boat or by foot —guests may hop on a members boat or enjoy from Grippa’s backyard

Music: Raisin Cake Orchestra – Traditional & New Orleans Jazz

Performance: Two 50-minute sets with a short break

The only thing better than owning a boat is a “friend with a boat”. Come by foot to the dock, hop on a members boat (or watch from the dock), and join the fun!
Tie up, kick back, and enjoy an evening of classic jazz on the water—yacht club style.

Great fun at the home of Cathy Coleman Fuller for a summertime First Mates! Aperol and Hugo Spritz were the drinks of the night, and our fabulous bartender (Cathy's son) made it easy for us to keep refreshed! Never Have I Ever received high scores from all the ladies! 21 was the highest score with at least 4 getting a perfect score!

Grand Finale at Fernandina Beach with dinner at Cafe Karibou and fireworks over the marina! Thank goodness no mishaps this year with the gangway collapsing like last year! They were really organized and only boatowners and their guests had a card to get out on the docks. A problem with our lock back at Queen's Harbour, but thanks to Wayne Waters, everything is fixed now! A big shoutout to Wayne for being so dedicated to keeping our lock working!
