Broker Transparency: In May 2023 CDLDU hand delivered 90 packets to members of the Transportation Committees of both the Senate and the House. This packet included our proposed solutions. In response, six members of Congress penned a letter to the OIG(Office of Inspector General) requesting action from them on broker fraud

#3 on our list of accomplishments of 2023. In May we were invited by the FMCSA to testify in front of the Transportation Research Board about Alternative Methods of Payment to drivers and How it relates to Safety. We proved that there is no driver shortage by showing statistics. There are over 8 Million active CDL licenses in this country. We also offered our CDLDU resources to help with the unsolved retention of drivers issue.

Part 2 CDLDU was launched publically at the Mid America Truck Show in 2023. At the FMCSA listening session during the show, we were shocked to get the FMCSA to admit that they had never audited a broker.

Part 1: February of 2023, CDLDU went into Washington DC and made a presentation to FMCSA announcing that drivers are the largest stakeholder group in the . We presented a crash analysis showing that tractor trailer drivers were responsible for LESS THAN 1% of fatal accidents in 2020.
