The Friends of Brentwood Public Library, Inc. The Friends of Brentwood Public Library (FOBL), Inc. is a non profit 501 (c) (3) Corporation 501 (c) (3) that's exclusively charitable, and educational.

We support the library programs and offer pro literacy enrichment activities in the urban core. Ensuring that the Brentwood Branch Public Library is open to all seven days a week; promote the education of the community through the active and continued use of the Library; advocate for a public library system that meets its mission to the citizens of the community; building active public support f

or the branch library in the Brentwood Neighborhood; researching data that impacts decisions involving maintaining and/or expanding access to Brentwood Branch Library supporting needs and the community.

On the 8th Anniversary of The Friends of Brentwood Library, Senator Audrey Gibson congratulates the Friends on their Power of Perseverance (POP). With continued efforts, the Friends have worked tirelessly since 2013 to keep the Brentwood Branch Library open. Working for the benefit of the Brentwood community is our pleasure, senator Gibson.

On Friday, December 10, 2021, the Friends of Brentwood Public Library hosted their annual Storytime With Santa Book & Toys Giveaway event. On that day, 45 children gathered to meet with Santa, enjoyed a fun Christmas story that they can share with their families, and sang a few Christmas carols.
