I’m excited to share that I was recently interviewed on a podcast where I discuss my passion for supporting women navigating grief, trauma, and life's most challenging seasons.

If you or someone you love is struggling with grief, trauma, caregiver burnout, anxiety, or loss, I want you to know that support is available.
As a Grief & Trauma Coach, I am honored to walk alongside those who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unseen during difficult times.

I invite you to watch the interview, and if my message speaks to you, please reach out. You do not have to carry your burden alone.

Please watch, like, and share to help me reach those who may need encouragement and support today.

This May, I’m creating a space of encouragement, healing, and hope.

Throughout the month, I will be sharing inspiration, support, and encouragement for caregivers and those navigating grief and trauma. Whether you are walking through loss, supporting a loved one, or carrying the weight in silence—you are not alone.

Each post is created with you in mind… to uplift, to remind you of your strength, and to help you keep moving forward one day at a time.

If this speaks to you or someone you love, I invite you to follow along, engage, and share. Let’s walk this journey together.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What are you carrying right now? How can I help?

May is a month that holds so much meaning for me…

It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to slow down and care for our emotional well-being.

It’s also Mother’s Day, and this part is deeply personal for me…

I honor my mother — her strength, her love, and the foundation she gave our family. I miss you terribly!!!💔

And I honor my sisters — the bond we share, the memories, and the love that continues to carry me.

May 10th marks the day my sister gained her wings… and even in grief, I choose to celebrate the love that will never leave me for both of them.

Out of that love, loss, and healing, The Unseen Warrior: A Caregiver’s Story of Love and Loss. Her Battle, Our Journey and my Caregiver Healing Journal were born.

These are not just pages… they are safe spaces.
For the caregivers.
For the grieving hearts.
For those who carry so much, often unseen.

If you or someone you love is navigating grief, caregiving, or emotional overwhelm, I invite you to lean into support this month. You don’t have to do it alone.

*Honor your loved ones
*Give yourself permission to heal

There are moments in this journey when I sit quietly with my own journal—pen in hand, heart open—and I realize something deeply humbling:

The work God gave me to give to others… is still blessing me.

When the Teacher Becomes the Student

Recently, I found myself turning the pages—not as the author, not as the grief coach—but as Juanita. A sister. A woman. A Mother. A friend. A believer who still has moments where grief resurfaces unexpectedly.

And as I followed the same prompts I wrote for others, something beautiful happened.

The words met me where I was.

Let this be your reminder:

The work God is doing through you can still work on you.

Your healing doesn’t disqualify you from serving—it deepens you.
Your tears don’t mean you lack faith—they mean you’re human.
And the tools that bless others can absolutely bless you again and again.

And as I close my journal, I whisper a simple prayer:

“Thank You for trusting me with this work… and for letting it heal me too.

Book Launch Announcement

With a grateful heart, I’m honored to announce the launch of my book The Unseen Warrior: A Caregiver’s Story of Love and Loss. Her Battle, Our Journey.

If you’ve ever loved deeply, lost painfully, or carried more than you let the world see— this book is for you.

This book was birthed through prayer, tears, faith, and obedience. It tells the story of walking alongside a loved one through illness—trusting God in the midst of uncertainty, heartbreak, and hope.

It is a testimony of His presence even in the darkest moments and His strength when ours runs out.

Along with the book, I’m releasing my 30 Day Healing Journal for the Unseen Warriors: The Caregivers—created as a guided, faith-centered space for caregivers to reflect, pray, journal, and begin healing with God at the center.

My prayer is that these resources remind not only caregivers but everyone everywhere that they are seen, valued and never alone. No matter what you’re going through, God’s grace will meet you every step of the journey.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, prayed for me, prayed with me, and walked with me through this journey.

This is my favorite spot in my home. It’s just an oversized chair in my sunroom next to a credenza filled with photographs, awards, and cherished keepsakes.

From this chair, I have cried and laughed, revisited memories, and shared quiet conversations with my mother and sister.

It has been a place of deep thought, reflection, prayer, healing, and spiritual grounding.

It is also from this very space that I have had the honor of supporting women through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

As we prepare to enter 2026, I am deeply honored to continue the work God has entrusted to me—to walk alongside, uplift, and hold sacred space for those navigating grief and trauma.

If you are seeking guidance, support, and a compassionate presence grounded in faith in the year ahead, I welcome the opportunity to continue—or to begin—this healing journey with you.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories in 2025 and I look forward to serving, supporting, and walking with you into 2026 with grace, hope, and purpose.

Happy New Year

Gary Sinise speaks about his son’s cancer and death.

There were days that were tough. Days where just…anybody who’s going through this kinda knows what I’m talking about….you know..where you’re trying to fight, you’re the caregiver, you’re trying to fight hard, you’re trying to figure stuff out, you’re trying to take the pain away, you’re trying to take any thought of cancer away from the patient so they don’t have to think about it….and then sometimes you just fall down, you know…where I felt like I couldn’t do enough or I didn’t know what to do…..Gary Sinise

If you are a caregiver of a loved ones…regardless of the illness.. know that you are not alone! I’m here to help!
