Today, we turned the first shovel of dirt on the new Family Birth Place at Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns County — and it felt like exactly that. A beginning.

For the families who will one day walk through those doors — the mamas in labor, the dads pacing the hallways, the grandparents waiting for that first photo — this tower is being built with you in mind. Private rooms. Specialized NICU care. Space designed for connection, comfort, and the kind of care every family deserves.

Expected to open by the end of 2027, it's already a dream worth celebrating — and worth supporting. 💙

Big news from our Physicians Giving Society! 🎉

Our incredible Physician Giving Society members recently gathered to make their annual disbursement and we are overjoyed to share that $255,080 will be invested in projects that will transform the care we provide across our community.

From a handicap accessible golf cart to simulation manikins for our physicians and nurses to practice critical procedures on, each initiative selected reflects the deep commitment our physicians have to going above and beyond for our patients and those we serve.

Thank you to every member of the Physicians Giving Society for your generosity, vision, and heart for this community. We can't wait to watch these projects come to life. 💙

We recently had the honor of celebrating incredible new moms at our Clay County hospital — and what a joy it was. Welcoming new life is one of the greatest privileges we have, and it's a reminder of exactly why we do what we do.

The Foundation is committed to expanding the care we offer at our Family Birth Place and NICUs, and walking alongside new moms from pregnancy through that precious first year of life — with education, resources, and support every step of the way.

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything so that we could have the freedoms we hold dear.
