D.W. Perkins members are invited to the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse for an informative discussion on **CJA appointments and federal criminal defense practice.** Members of the federal judiciary, Federal Defender, CJA attorneys, and Clerk’s Office will be in attendance.

Join Jacksonville’s legal community and the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society for a historic evening honoring Florida Supreme Court Justices **Raymond Ehrlich, Leander J. Shaw Jr., and Major B. Harding.**

What a wonderful luncheon today! 💜💛

Today’s D.W. Perkins Bar Association luncheon was filled with great information, thoughtful discussion, and valuable insight on **Heirs’ Property: A Local Perspective**.

A special thank you to our outstanding panelists **Iris Moody, John Sapora, and Steven McDaniels** for sharing their knowledge, experience, and perspectives with us.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to **LaTonya Lipscomb Smith**, who served as both our moderator and luncheon coordinator. Thank you for guiding such an engaging conversation and helping make today’s luncheon a success!

It was an honor speaking with the students of the Black Law Students Association today. We discussed the overall of the legal profession. We got a chance to talk about corporate, private, and government work. It was a great conversation!
