Have you opened an able account for your child yet? Curious????

An estimated 250,000 more Illinoisans with a disability now are eligible to open an ABLE account to save and invest money without risking their federal benefits.

For Bennett and Sloane Harbison running, has always been more than just the miles. It’s about the journey they take together. This year, they are lacing up for the most meaningful finish line yet. They are running to Support Operation Uniquecorn, a nonprofit dedicated to a cause close to many hearts, but often unseen: assisting children with invisible disabilities and their families.

Bennett and Sloane believe that while these children face hurdles the world cannot see, they should also feel the support system they can always lean on.

“Running. This race is our way of showing them that we are in the corner, stride for stride.“

Please help, Ben and Sloane achieve their goal and donate now. Your donation doesn’t just fund the race; it funds a future where every Uniqueorn has the resources to thrive.

He just wanted to protect his son 🥺

After watching his autistic son Zachary Duncan get bullied online, Stuart Duncan decided to create a safer alternative instead of accepting the reality of toxic gaming spaces. He built a private Minecraft server called Autcraft, designed specifically to support autistic children in a calm and respectful environment.

The server is heavily moderated, focused on kindness, and structured to reduce stress and conflict. What began as a small personal solution has grown into a global community of more than 17,000 autistic children who finally have a place where they feel safe and understood.

SAVING SUPERMAN tells the story of Jonathan, a 57-year-old man with autism who’s become a local hero in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn.

Affectionately known as “Superman,” Jonathan is celebrated for his everyday acts of kindness and has been a beloved fixture in the town’s Fourth of July Parade for nearly 30 years.

When a new building owner threatened his home, the community rallied behind him — led by his best friend, Julie — whose grassroots fundraiser sparked an outpouring of support to save not just his house, but the spirit of the town itself.

This is such a beautiful story about how a community, a village, can make such a difference in someone’s life.

We did it!!! This years donations and money raised at our First Annual Golf Outing helped our newest Uniquecorn, Henry and his family put up a fence. Welcome Henry and family to the Uniquecorn Family ❤️!!!!

Lets hear what his mom Lauren had to say:
To say that Henry is an active child would be an understatement. He’s the happiest when he’s running, climbing, or jumping- especially outside. We have found that he also has better emotional regulation when he’s gotten enough physical activity and play time. Henry was diagnosed with level three autism at just 3 years old and emotional outbursts have been frequent. Due to his diagnosis he also has no concept of safety and would not hesitate to elope or run into traffic. We’ve always wanted to fence in our yard so we could give him a safe place to play at home. Due to financial constraints that was not possible until we were given the gift from such an amazing organization. Henry is very excited to explore his new space and we will forever be grateful!

We are so grateful for all of our amazing donors that helped make this possible. We are so happy we were able to help Henry and his family create a safe space. And it came just in time…. Henry is a big brother.
