The SAGE Project Focusing on the well-being of local LGBTQ+
by providing a safe space where they can be themselves.

We aim to help lesson the isolation that can come with being an LGBTQIA+ person in a small community. We host meetings for local LGBTQIA+ tweens & teens and (separately) adults. We also hope to create community alliances, increase awareness and decrease prejudice.

This Pride Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence.

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Yet many LGBTQ+ survivors face unique barriers when seeking safety, support, and healing, including fear of discrimination, lack of inclusive resources, and concerns about being believed.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in their relationships.

As we celebrate Pride, let us also raise awareness, challenge stigma, and stand alongside LGBTQ+ survivors. Together, we can create communities where every person is seen, heard, and empowered to seek help without fear.

This Friday’s Downtown Concert Series is bringing the ultimate 90s throwback to the Square. 🎶

90’s Kids Superfly takes the stage June 12 from 6–9 PM with all the singalong favorites, dance hits, and nostalgic energy that makes summer nights downtown so fun. Expect everything from pop and hip hop to the songs you forgot you knew every word to.

Grab dinner, enjoy the food + beer wagon, pull up a lawn chair, and make a night of it in Downtown Jacksonville.

New to Jacksonville? Stop by the Welcome Tent in Central Park during the concert beginning at 5:30 PM. Meet some friendly faces, pick up Jacksonville goodies, and learn more about everything our community has to offer. 💙
