Join us in welcoming Dr. Praveen Mital to the DCMS! Dr. Mital is the Medical Director for the UF Health Jacksonville Adult Emergency Department.

He earned his MD from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency there, followed by an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University.

DCMS physicians once again demonstrated their leadership and commitment to organized medicine at this year's FMA Annual Meeting.

DCMS Past Presidents Dr. Tra'Chella Johnson Foy and Dr. John Montgomery were elected as delegates to the AMA, while Dr. Lisa Cosgrove was elected as an AMA alternate delegate.

Dr. Montgomery also received the FMA Award of Distinguished Service, the association's highest honor presented by the FMA House of Delegates. The award recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional and sustained service to the association, the medical profession, and the public over many years.
