Thank you to our founder, our community partners, the Carver Center, ArdentX and the young people of TSD BEARS youth football organization. and CUCO Youth Track & Field 501c3 who helped us provide everything needed for Thanksgiving meals to over 50 families yesterday.

With the help from so many and in spite of the rain and numerous challenges, we were able to continue this tradition for the third straight year.

What an amazing and inspirational event today!

It was such an honor to listen to the young leaders of this city give their perspectives, as well as listening to a moving keynote from Dr. Shawn Ginwright.

There is still hope for Jacksonville’s educational future thanks to our good friends at Jacksonville Public Education Fund.

JPEF’s vision is that every student is inspired and prepared for success in college or a career and life. We know that we cannot make that vision a reality without speaking to those at the center of the vision: the students themselves.

22 years later and it still doesn’t feel like an ordinary day. Because it isn’t. Take a moment to stop and remember those who lost their lives on 9/11/01.

Also, remember how we came together as a nation to support one another through tragedy.
